IB Results for May 2017

Exam results for the May 2017 session will be released by the IB on July 5 at 12pm GMT. Students should access their results via the candidate website (candidates.ibo.org) instead of contacting their former teachers over the summer holiday. Students were given their login information to the candidate website prior to their exams in May. IB teachers can use their discretion when sharing a score with a student as they are under no obligation to do so since students can access their own scores. If a student submitted a results request (transcript sent to your university/college) to Ms. Robinson by the May 1 deadline, this has been completed. Only 24 out of 100 students completed this form. Candidates who did not meet this deadline will be required to submit all additional or late transcript requests directly to the IB by completing the transcript request form on the public website http://ibo.org/en/programmes/diploma-programme/assessment-and-exams/requesting-transcripts/ and providing payment. Candidates can view the universities that their results are being sent to by logging into the IB candidate website and clicking on the Transcripts tab. Candidates should not submit duplicate requests as this will delay the sending of results and the admissions application process. In addition candidates will be charged for any duplicate requests made. All universities that receive IB results in electronic format will be able to download the results on 5th July at 12pm GMT, providing a transcript request has been submitted. All universities that receive results in paper format will be sent the results transcripts by 31 July, with the exception of several countries such as Spain, India, Germany and Sweden where the admissions deadline is much earlier and therefore the results will be sent out earlier to meet these deadlines. You should contact your university to determine how they receive results as well as confirming they received them. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Robinson: rrobinson@pcsstn.com.
