Allison Mahan: Seniors wishing to submit a senior will for the last issue of Charger for the year may pick one up in Room 240 and must submit by April 17. Any student interested in applying for newspaper staff next year may pick up an application in either room 240 or the 2nd floor counseling center. Students who do not complete the application process will not be allowed on staff. Cynthia Parker: Applications are now available for Cookeville Regional Medical Center’s Volunteer Program. You must be between the ages of 14 and 18. Come to 2nd floor Counseling Office for an application. Applications are due by Friday, April 28th. Hatcher: Students that are interested in ACT Test Prep at TTU can pick up a flier in the Counseling Center. Julie Benjamin: Basketball Spirit Week is the week of 1/30-2/3! The events will include dress up days, the election of a Basketball King, Basketball Queen, and a Basketball Sweetheart, an end of the day pep rally, and a Student Congress sponsored Winter Ball on Saturday the 4th. The pep rally will include a “So You Think You Can Cheer” contest in which groups of at least 4 will perform a dance/cheer to get the crowd hype for the game. The winner of the competition will be picked by student body response. The deadline to sign up is 1/30. See Ms. Benjamin in room 247 for more details. BASKETBALL SPIRIT WEEK IS COMING!
