Allison Mahan: Seniors wishing to submit a senior will for the last issue of Charger for the year may pick one up in Room 240 and must submit by April 17. Any student interested in applying for newspaper staff next year may pick up an application in either room 240 or the 2nd floor counseling center. Students who do not complete the application process will not be allowed on staff. Cynthia Parker: Applications are now available for Cookeville Regional Medical Center’s Volunteer Program. You must be between the ages of 14 and 18. Come to 2nd floor Counseling Office for an application. Applications are due by Friday, April 28th. You can now follow the Counseling Department on Twitter to receive important information. Look for CHS Counseling@Cavs_Counseling. Hatcher: GFWC Cookeville Junior Woman’s Club is offering a scholarship to seniors who meet the criteria. The deadline is August 1st. Stephanie Hardin: Attention Seniors: New scholarship opportunity– Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors ( UCAR) is offering a $250 scholarship. See your counselor for details. Applications are in the counseling center on second floor. Hatcher: Attention sophomores and juniors : There will be a meeting about Dual Enrollment for TTU and Vol State on March 8th from 5:00-6:00 p.m in the auditorium. This meeting is for students and their parents. If your intend to take dual enrollment classes 2017-18, parents and students need to attend. Hatcher: The PCEA Retired Teachers application information is available in the 2nd floor counselor’s office. Due date is March 3rd. Hatcher: If you are 10th grader planning on Dual Enrollment classes next year, You need to sign up for the April or June ACT on the ACT website. TTU and Vol State will need those scores by June 30th. Hatcher: SENIORS- FRIDAY, MARCH 10TH Deadline for Seniors to turn in Diploma Verification to counselors Students who do not turn in the Diploma Verification form to counselors by this deadline will not be eligible to participate in the Celebration of Academic Excellence. Vicki Russell: Your Change…Your Chance to Cancel Cancer! Key Club will be collecting spare change for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society from February 27th until Spring Break. Please come by the tables in the Commons Area at lunch and place your change in your class container. The class with the highest amount donated will win treats when we return from break! JROTC: From Monday, February 27 – Thursday, March 9, CHS JROTC will conduct a food Drive in support of the CHS Food Pantry....
