Hatcher: GFWC Cookeville Junior Woman’s Club is offering a scholarship to seniors who meet the criteria. The deadline is August 1st. Hatcher: This summer, tnAchieves is offering the Summer Bridge Program at all 13 community colleges. This is the third year we have been able to offer this program, so you may have heard of it before. If you have not, this program is a FREE 3-week academic boot camp designed to assist students in testing out of learning support classes they otherwise would be required to take their first semester of college. Students will take classes in reading, writing and math, and will have a lunch and learn session each day to provide information on what it means to be a successful college student. On the final day of the program, students will complete a placement test. Any student requiring remedial courses is eligible to apply. Shannon Renegar: Health Science Clinical Internship applications are now available in Mrs. Renegar’s room and the counseling offices. Only rising seniors who have completed at least two health science classes are eligible to apply. Completed applications and teacher recommendations are to be turned in to Mrs. Renegar no later than Friday, April 21.

Hatcher: The Balanced Man Scholarship allows SigEp to find balanced men who embody the fraternity’s values and ideals as a high school graduating senior. The Balanced Man Scholarship awards its recipients a $400 scholarship. This scholarship applies to every male that is attending Tennessee Tech in the fall. Kisha: April is Autism Awareness Month! Ms. West’s class will be selling Autism Awareness badges that light up for $2 during lunch for the rest of April. Please show your support by buying a badge and wearing it proudly.

R. Robinson: IB Exams: Students who are taking IB Exams in May will have a mandatory meeting on Tuesday (April 25) during the first half of lunch. It is IB policy that students formally review exam procedures before their testing date. Students will also receive their exam schedules and parking passes for TTU. There will be NO makeup date for this meeting.
