Announcements 2/16/16

Molly Risley: Attention New York City lovers! If you are interested in joining a group trip to NYC in May of 2017, please attend the interest meeting THIS THURSDAY (Feb 18th) during the first half of lunch in room 247. Ms. Risley has important information to share with you! If you sign up this month, you will receive a $75 discount off the cost of your trip–that’s like getting a Broadway show for free!

Darlene Hatcher: Sophomores and Juniors who applied to Governor’s school: If you receive an email of acceptance or for the waiting list, please let your counselor know.

Sam Matson: Boys soccer tryouts will take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30. Meet in the commons area at 3:30 on Wednesday afternoon. Please bring cleats, indoor or running shoes, shin guards, and a ball. You must have a completed physical in order to try out. The team will be picked at the end of Thursday’s tryout session.

Robin Ford: Attention to those interested in the Italy 2017 tour to Rome. Due to snow days, our meeting tonight has been moved to next Tuesday, February 23rd at 6 pm. We will also hold an interest meeting in Ms. Ford’s room, number 156, this Friday-February 19th during the first half of lunch.

It’s time to start thinking about Prom! Students, if you will be taking a non-CHS student to Prom, you need to submit a guest application form to the main office. Please come to Ms. Ford’s room, number 156 in the Fine Arts wing throughout the day to pick up an application. These are located on the bulletin board outside the room in the labeled folder. You must have a copy of your date’s driver’s license or school ID to apply. Please understand that you will unable to purchase a prom bid for a non-CHS student without the returned consent slip from the administration given from this application. A Prom information sheet is also available in a folder outside of Ms. Ford’s room regarding frequently asked questions.
