Friday – October 20, 2017

Darlene Hatcher: ​10th and 11th : Governor’s Schools applications are available online at https://www.tn.gov/education/topic/tdoe-governors-schools. The completed application is due to the guidance office on November 20th so that the deadlines can be met. Counseling Dept. : Governor’s School for the fine arts is now open. Fine Arts has an earlier deadline. Counselor’s will need everything completed for those applications no later than October 27th. Julie Benjamin: The 5th Annual CHS Bonfire will take place this Thursday night (10/19) from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in front of the wrestling building. Come celebrate the last regularly scheduled home football game of the season by joining us for food, fire, and fun. Music provided by Freaky Dave. Ciara Pittman:  Please join T.E.S.T. Club in the commons area at lunch to promote safe driving awareness this week: Monday: Texting and Trikes Tuesday: Impaired driving (drunk-goggles and trikes) Wednesday: Safe Driving Selfie Booth Thursday: Be in the Zone Cornhole tournament (signups through Wednesday) Friday: Trivia *Wear white on Friday to raise awareness for teen driving fatalities.
